I was at a meeting at a school in Inverurie today and, for the first time, I noticed this amazing sculpture. When I checked it out online I learned that it was an elm tree that had died and a local chain-saw sculptor was asked to turn it into a piece of public art.
"The image of the children with arms around each other, lifting each other up and reaching for the sky was the result and “Aspire” was born."
Three good things
1. A great chat with a lovely colleague travelling together.
2. A superb workshop.....the time flew by.
