I'm a bit amused at the tulips I bought last week! They were in the hall and after a couple of days the red ones had 'bolted' and were much taller than the others even though I'd cut them all to the same height when I put them in the vase!
I cut them back to the same height and they all flopped.....but now in the lounge and they seem happier .....so interesting to see how they do!
Three good things
1. a good day at school......everyone seemed to have coped with the change of the clock.
2. quiet evening .....working in front of the TV....
and watching Mary Berry - I think I can do some of these recipes and Allan bought me the book for the series. A good deal at WH Smith on Saturday!
3. A glass of wine left over from yesterday
