North end of the canal again and it's different each time I travel this way. Tonight the light was silvery and filtering through the clouds. And so much warmer than home.
Three good things
1. A good life....my last remaining aunt on my Dad's side of the family passed away a couple of nights ago on her 89th birthday. She was a lovely lady and had moved away from the islands in the west to be closer to her son and his family. She had 30 years of seeing them in and out every other day so they'll miss her.
2. A lovely chat with Susannah while travelling.....who would have thought it was possible not some long ago.
3. Nearly home...to Mum and Dad's place.....4 more stops on the north train.
