It was a beautiful place for a thanksgiving service.
And though I'm writing this months afterwards I have only warm positive recollections as the building was filled with family, neighbours, friends, former pupils, colleagues, and many more. So lovely to greet them at the door as they arrived and the warmest of memories and kind words did us all good. Great singing and lovely organ playing by my nephew. And the flowers we had organised were very special.
A landmark day in all our lives, but full of gratitude for the loveliest man.
