So....it's up! Last night I was too tired and it wasn't sitting in its container properly so I gave up!
But tonight we got it sitting in place and it was quite fun to find there were lots of lovely branches for all the ornaments. I could write a book about them....maybe I will.....some made by the children when they were small, some given by friends abroad, a favourite angel of Laura's and some we made at a 'create for Christmas' evening at the church she went to in Edinburgh....all more special now that she's in Melbourne!
Some very old that we had on our first Christmas tree back in 1979....phew how time flies.
Three good things
1. Thankful for so much that has happened in the last year.
2. Glad to have warm house, warm hearts and warm bed.......winter chill in the wind today.
3. Memories of friends and family, some we won't see again but grateful for the impact they had on our lives and the love they shared with us.
