We knew from weather app etc that we had escaped significant snowfall when we were up north. But it was very pretty to come home to. You just can't beat the amazing light and reflections of sunshine on snow.
Three good things
1. Another great sleep and fab breakfast before we left Golf View Hotel.
2. Dry roads and safe journey home in sunshine.
3. Some presents wrapped and under the tree. The upside of not having little people around for Christmas.

Just back from a walk up to the church.....quite hard work and lots of creaking ice under the snow. Wonder how it will work out for school this week. So many children and colleagues have some distance to travel.
