For weeks he's been asking, in sign, in baby babble, and by putting on random hats and gloves and pointing to the door and squeaking, to go outside. But it's been single digits with negative wind chills pretty much every day. Today it finally was a bit milder - a whopping 28 degrees - so, we "played" outside for a bit.
It took longer to get him stuffed into all that winter gear than we actually spent outdoors, and he basically had to waddle like a penguin because between the boots and the snow pants I don't think he could bend his knees more than he's doing in this picture.
I'm not sure if playing in the snow was quite what he was expecting. Maybe next time I'll pull the baby sled out of the garage and pull him around a bit...
