It got all the way up to 65 degrees today! We won't talk about tomorrow's forecast. Or the snow we're supposed to get for Easter. (Seriously? So much for nice family photos in our Easter finery.)
Knowing that this bit of warm weather was just a tease, we soaked up massive amounts of vitamin D - the kids spent very nearly the entire day outside coloring with chalk and using up all the bubble stuff in the house while I got two beds raked out and cleaned up and pruned a couple of bushes.
This monkey bubble blower was supposed to be for Matthew, but the girls think it's the best toy ever because it produces ridiculous amounts of bubbles with each dip. Maybe I should go buy a couple more so they can have bubble wars... :)
Ha ha! You're serious about the "bubble wars"? Might be a bit messy if it's done in the house in the snow that is expected this weekend. Very cute photo.
@samzee It's a ToysRUs branded bubble blower, it was only $4 or so? They had a monkey and a few other animals - but Matthew is Mr. Monkeypants, so it had to be that one. :)
@samzee I think it was marked ages 3+, but the little fan that blows the bubbles is soft foam and can't hurt little fingers. They do have to dip the top into a small open tray of bubble stuff, so it can be a little messy. Matthew caught on to how it worked very quickly, and he only spills when he's trying to move it from one part of the sidewalk to another. He thinks it's hilarious when he makes it blow bubbles towards me and they get in my hair. :)
