I wish I had photos of cute kids in Easter clothes to post, but my little guy was very sick today. I took some scattered photos of the girls doing an indoor egg hunt but nothing came out all that well. Since we were supposed to be hosting dinner and had a fridge full of food, we're going to do an Easter "Do-Over" later this month, and I'll get my cute photos then, hopefully!
So. A collage of photos from yesterday's cookie decorating. Turns out Anna loves spreading the icing even more than sprinkling the sprinkles, and Carolyn prefers the sprinkling bit, so I was left with lots of time to take pictures. And test cookies. (Quality control is important.)
An online photography class I'm doing has "storytelling" for this month's theme, focusing on capturing details as well as the whole scene, so that's what I attempted to do here.
@darlenet@aglennc@myhrhelper@thimblelady Thank you all! Yes, they are as delicious as they look, though most of them are headed to work with my husband tomorrow. (My great-grandmother's recipe makes a rather embarrassing number of cookies, and due to a lack of proper measurements is kind of difficult to downsize. And while they do freeze, they taste so much better fresh. So...we'll have to make more. Darn.)
