The grandparents have a little motorized jeep for the grandkids that's been around since my oldest niece was tiny - she's almost 16 now! Matthew couldn't quite grasp the idea of pushing the pedal to make it go. So, Poppy found an extra bit of wood trim in the garage, and made it go! I suspect this isn't the first time he's used this trick. :)
(My mechanically-minded little guy did figure it out not too long after this. Steering will have to be a lesson for another day!)
