Potential

Another batch of yarn that's going to turn into something I can't share for a while - this time because it's a holiday gift. Does the recipient check 365? Probably not. But, better safe than sorry!

It's so hard to convince my camera sensor to capture intense reds and oranges without making them too intense to look at. They don't look like that in real life - they're saturated, but not burn-your-retinas saturated. I played around a lot with Lightroom sliders to get the red and orange yarn to look natural!
Nicely captured - love the colors. Looking forward to seeing the finished product, after the recipient does.

@linnypinny Thanks! It's going to be tough to refrain from sharing photos of the finished product before Christmas, it's turning out even cuter than I'd planned. :)

Those colors are very promising of something really cheerful and cute. Can't wait to see it! I've messed with reds too and stumbled upon something that has helped. In LR, first set the white balance, then scroll down to Camera Calibration. The default there is Adobe Standard, but there are other options in the drop down menu that you can try.

Love the colors. Can almost feel the softness of this yarn from here. The green and dark red are my favorites.
