Empty the button tin out onto a cookie tray, and Matthew will amuse himself for a ridiculously long time. It's my new favorite trick for getting things done in the kitchen!

@amandal Thanks! A few days later I added play dough, and he was having a grand time pushing buttons into play dough and I thought I was a total genius...and then I discovered that clean up involved poking dried play dough out of buttonholes with a toothpick. :(
