An extra flash of red to (nearly) wrap up Flash of Red February. We had an incredibly warm day to sell girl scout cookies, and then a few weeks later we got another incredibly warm day to deliver them!
It's been a lot of fun to shoot in monochrome all month long - I feel like I've taken many more shots I'm very happy with this month than in any month so far of my project! I'm now shooting in RAW, too, and cannot believe what a difference that has made in color balance, noise, and sharpness. Love this site and all the ways it's helped me to grow as a photographer!
@cruiser Hah! Those snow banks were up to my oldest's waist (the girl on the left) just a couple of days ago. It was about 55ºF when we went out, but felt so much warmer in the sun that we left jackets home and brought water bottles besides. (We passed several people walking in shorts - we're a hardy bunch around here.)
