Hand the kid a harmonica and a hat, and he hops up to the piano and starts accompanying himself.
I have a classical background and have somehow landed in the world of show tunes. Blues? Jazz? Not so much - I can play a I-IV-V-I boogie-woogie bass line and that's about it. So this blues man thing he does is completely unexpected and wonderful. (And maybe a tiny bit unnerving. Where is he getting this stuff from?)
