After we took off from Newark there was some very pretty light as we flew over Manhattan! That three hour layover was worth it for this photo alone.
My very first kid-free vacation in 12 years: 32 hours in London followed by 4 days in Paris. Will I survive being away from the kids for the first time ever? I suspect I'll be too busy photographing everything I can to miss them too terribly much!
Fabulous shot! You'll have a blast! One of the coolest things in Paris is the catacombs - check them out if you get a chance. Go early because they only let so many people in at a time.
@alophoto Nope. My husband has a business trip and we're making a vacation out of it. To be fair, we had an almost-one-year-old for both our 10th and our 15th anniversaries, so traveling was out of the question then - I guess this could count as a make-up 17th anniversary trip? :)
