I had to take a drive today to support a friend, and on my way home I pulled into a parking area with some lovely views. We live in the Finger Lakes region, and there are little lakes peppered all over the local landscape, with rolling farmland and ridges of trees in between.
Our winters may be on the brutal side, but I wouldn't trade these views for anything.
