I've been sewing doll clothes for my daughters for years and year. And for years and years family and friends (and even strangers) have been telling me I should sell them. (The doll clothes, not my daughters!)
So in the vast amounts of spare time I have (hah) I opened up an Etsy shop to sell doll clothes - with a geeky twist to them, because girls who like dolls are also allowed to like science, math, reading and Doctor Who!
I had to build a giant PVC lightbox, because a ready-made product photography lightbox that could fit 18" dolls was a bit out of my budget. This enormous monstrosity is 30" wide and tall, and 18" deep. I'm not convinced I have enough lights, or that they're set up in an ideal way, but it's much better than relying on natural light would be.
I will try not to make this 365 days of doll photos, but all I managed to get done today was to make a few doll dresses and take photos of them, so that's all I've got!
