My faithful truck reached 100,000 miles today (yes, I pulled safely off the road to take this).
In addition to everyday travel, this truck has transported my family with my father's urn to its final resting spot, transported me to see two of my three grandchildren's births (and hopefully one more next month), and protected me in a rear end collision one year ago yesterday. Hard not to be a bit sentimental over the milestone.
We've had four Toyota's... all have been great vehicles! Hope yours continues to bring you miles and miles of smiles! (We expect photos of the grandchild's arrival! )
Glad you remembered to pull over at the right moment! It used to be that this meant the car was almost finished, but no more. I hope it serves you well into the future.
Vehicles hold a lot of our lives. When I left my green station wagon at the junkyard (about 7 years ago), my son, 11 at the time, cried (though he tried to hide it).
Not bad going, here hoping for many more!!!
