Cold and drizzling at home today. I over did things yesterday after I came home so today I have been sore and tired
Spending the weekend pampering myself. Wonderful friends have been dropping off meals for me so I won't need to cook anything for myself until Monday

@photographycrazy Thanks very much @anniesue He didnt' say no driving for 6 weeks but I am conscious I have just had a large chunk removed (something that covers the area of a tennis biscuit seems quite big to me), and it feels rather sore and uncomfortable, so I am going to be very careful. No long trips driving for me for a while. The furthest I need to go is a couple of km to the holiday apartment or to the supermarket. I have offers of shopping for me, which I am accepting, and people offering to drive me where I need to go. @narayani Thanks Narayani. Yes, I am accepting all the help and offers of meals. @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. Yes definitely one step at a time, including taking a good look at my diet and starting to plan positive changes for foods that are "cancer preventive", especially as I have already been told by the specialist there is a high rate of recurrence @365anne Thanks very much Anne. I will do that. At the moment I am not even feeling like more than cellphone snaps!
thinking about the holiday cottage - for abdominal surgery (not that I've had it) even pushing a 'hoover' is generally not recommended - or reaching up to a washing line. Do a bit of research and heal well.
@anniesue Thanks Annie-Sue. Yes I do believe you are right and I have already arranged for a char to come and clean the holiday apartment next week Thursday when the current guests depart to be ready for new guests arriving Friday. I will take all the bed linen to the laundry to be done for me so that I don't have to hang sheets on the line ... And I also decided that my own house doesn't need for me to do a quick sweep and mop every night before I go to bed. It can just last until I get a char in again. Healing is more important than a clean floor right now.
