We call them Char Siu Bao or just Bao. According to the meat eaters in our family- yum Tokyo, ok in Singapore, hit and miss in China (possibly due to the variety of please dont ask fillings) but yuck here...mostly gristle and jelly like stuff. Funny that its morphed to 'humbow' in Seattle....Chinglish in reverse?

OK, I never heard of this but now I want one ...right now. Overslept this morning and have not had breakfast...read the article at the link you included and am SURE I would like it for breakfast also! (Will have to see if I can get them around here somewhere.)
