These are the only pictures I took on Wednesday: the before and after shots of my daughter's new Converses (one original, one unpicked), which came with some totally unnecessary and impractical net frou-frou across the heels. They look so much nicer with the net removed and that was my job during the afternoon. Late posting as last night was scary with my daughter's reaction to the increase in a steroid she's taking.
Three good things:
1. My daughter found some Converse trainers to fit her in a local sale - the fit was enough to take them home and improve them;
2. Serendipitously we covered the mental health activity in Guides, as it's mental health week - part of the Be Well challenges;
3. We have 12 girls going canoeing next week, which is a brilliant response - although I won't be able to go.
Thank you for looking and your amazing responses to the carnation and sunset. You're all marvellous. I prefer to spend time looking at your pictures rather than thanking you individually below.
I think we are all agreed then. The netting is superfluous. Great looking shoes though and I hope they cheer your daughter - she seems to be going through a difficult time.
Having raised two sons the term frou frou was never used in our household! Vroom Vroom yes, but frou frou- no! The nice thing is she experimented and discovered she liked them better without- her taste is developing. It must be extremely difficult to figure out these dosages- I'm glad she is better now.
