I took the D7000 to Citi Field today, and took a lot of nice photos with it. It was hard for me to pick a favorite for the project, but ultimaely I settled on this one. It would have been better without so many people around, but I like the angle, and how it gets in the Shea Home Run Apple along with so much of the stadium.
Hopefully I'll have a chance to reshoot this later in the season, when I can take a shot of it without a crowd.
That is the Home Run Apple that they used to have at Shea. It would go up every time a Met hit a home run (also before the game and during the 7th Inning Stretch).
