Baby Corn

There is a lot of corn growing nearby, so I decided to drive over to one of the fields and snap some photos of it this morning.

City girl that I am, I was surprised that the ears weren't more mature, considering how tall the stalks are. But I took my pictures anyway, and liked how the cornstalk on this developing ear looked in the sunlight.

It does look beautiful....funny I had the same thought on Saturday. The corn looks so pretty this time of year. Well the stalks do that is. Nice shot!
