After a cloudy day the sky cleared by late afternoon, bringing a warm and sunny evening, although still cool enough for the dogs to enjoy running around a playing during a long walk. With few clouds the sunset was not particularly dramatic. Instead the sun just descended serenely behind trees that were hiding the western horizon. Coincidentally large full moon was rising in the east, complementing the sinking sun, and for a time the two spheres were at the same angle, the moon almost appearing to be a pale reflection in the heavens of the golden disc of the sun directly opposite.
