Whistler Mountain gondola.

After a couple of skiing trips in the Alps it is a pleasant contrast to enjoy summer gondola rides in the mountains,that lead to hikes along mountain trails, instead of challenging and occasionally scary slides down ski runs. My skiing skills are somewhat limited, but I can confirm after many years pf practising I am a confident walker.

This is lovely. Oh my. I can't believe this area now. We were through there just before Whistler was built. It was so rustic, rural and pretty. Hated to see it "ruined" by the commercialization.........

What a fabulous shot!
I have not been skiing in many years...I remember falling of the t- bar only 3 metres in - not being able to stand up in skis and having young kids go past without a care laughing hahaha
