Robin's don't usually hang from these bird feeders as they don't seem as agile as the smaller tits who do hang on very easily. I guess that the bird feeding tray that he usually frequents where he can keep both feet on the tray was empty. Do you think he was trying to tell me something? Like fill my seed tray with meal worms please!
Beautifully captured !!! my little Robin has learnt to feed from the feeder if the tray is empty and the coast is clear without any other birds feeding at the time
@shepherdmanswife Not clear?! Could have fooled me! Thanks for clarifying lens. (Trying to decide whether to get the Canon 100-400 mkI, yours or the Tamron 150-600. Any view welcome)
@nicknac Nick I've got the canon 100- 400 mk1 which I love .... like the Sigma it is heavy, but gets some super sharp images. My bud just bought the Tamron 150-600 for his Nikon and loves it...would it be worth hiring one?
@shepherdmanswife Thanks for the steer. I have seen some pretty amazing photos taken with the 600, but am torn not to veer away from solid-built Canon. And those white lenses are sooo pretty! ;o)
Wonderful capture! He does seem to be trying to send a message. We get robins sometimes in the winter. They like the leftover clove currants on the bushes.
