I suppose it's "officially" the first day of college for the teenager. He left for a 10 day trip to Maine with 23 other freshmen today. They'll get 3 hours credit for camping, hiking, biking, whale watching and lobster eating ... and of course a service project and a paper due. I hung back a bit, waited around until they had all gotten signed in and had started their ice breaker activities. I peeked back in. There he was, looking just like someone who belonged there, like a college guy. Wonder how much these next 10 days will change him. Oh my - a mama's heart.
This is an amazing photo and just love the processing!! I usually like the color the best, just because I like color photos, but this I think, is the best of the two!! FAV!
