This was actually the first architecture shot I got that I found inspiring for my get pushed challenge from Marelize. Had to have a little fun with it in Color Efex.
ugh! can't believe I didn't just rush right out of the house. It's about an hour east of here, which is a lot closer than you usually are. I've not seen the place since the fire: was that visible?
@francoise Yes, you could see the buildings that had burned. They've cleaned up and roped those buildings off, but they're still there. Amazingly, it doesn't change the ambience of the town. They have signs on them for a GoFundMe site they've set up. They also have t-shirts for sale in the General Store that are black that say "Harper's Ferry Strong" with a red and orange flame on them. Sorry we couldn't catch up, tho. We'll try again!
