Many thanks to Frank and to Wendy for their suggestions on this little guy the other day. I've toned down the golden green grass and lightened the baby up. I've also messed with his eye just a bit simply to see what would happen.
This is my third edit on him. Dh had to have his gall bladder slurped out Friday afternoon, so while he was in the OR, I took the time to focus on editing this guy in PS. Made pretty good progress too. They brought dh back to the room a few hours later, and in the process of welcoming him back and taking him for a walk and making him comfortable again, somehow Photoshop "quit unexpectedly". When I opened PS back up, this little guy was still there but missing most of the work I had done. So, in between doing the things that you do when your dh has just parted with an organ, I spent the rest of the evening trying to recreate what I had lost. And somewhere around 10 pm, dh agreed that he looked pretty good. So I tried to save him back into LR, which is my habit, but alas, since it was a recovered photo, it wouldn't go back. And after saving it as a Tiff withOUT the ProPhoto color space, it still came out as a green-hazed photo. UGH!!!!
Well, dh came home Saturday morning to warm sunshine and feeling pretty good. I've spent some time yesterday and today and edited this guy again. Not sure if he's as perfect as he seemed at 10pm thru bleary eyes the other night, but here he is anyway because frankly, I don't much remember what he looked like the other night!
