It's a love/hate relationship. I love what I do to earn an income, but I couldn't tell you why. There's just something satisfying about making zero equal zero. It was that way with algebra, and it seems to be the same way with counting beans. I don't enjoy doing what I do for one single company, you know - where you go in each day and sit at the same desk, shuffle the same papers, and do the same thing over and over, day in and day out, week after week, month after month, year after year .... ugh!!! But I do love doing it the way I'm doing it now - different clients, different locations, different people. And hopefully I can build this up and make it a profitable business like I had years ago when we lived in the big city.
And like anything else, it has its pros and cons. January is a bit of a con - busy, busy, busy. But by Jan 31, all the payroll taxes and 1099's are filed. YAY!!!
I hate taxes. Taxes are the bane of society - robbing from Peter so Paul can receive his hand-out. Meanwhile, roads and healthcare are thrown to the side in order to create bureaucracy to handle all the new programs to give back to people and businesses that can't make ends meet because they pay too much in taxes!
And on it goes - never ending.
And on it goes - never ending.
