cow collage

Could not decide which shot to upload so used both in a collage. The one on the left is one of our cows with her calf and the one on the right is one of our British Blue bulls, Heineken,(at the front), with some of his lady friends and calves. The calves are not his babies though.

Love them both. I like the one on the left because the calf is standing in exactly the same pose as mum, sort of a smaller copy if you like. And I like the one on the right because the one in the foreground is the only white one there.

We did have a Guinness though. He was the only pure blue we had born that year. The pure bred animals we register with the cattle society are named each year by successive letters of the alphabet. so the year of G we had Guinness. H we had a few Heineken being on of them. This year is K and again we only have one and his name is Kruger. He is in one of my earliest pictures with the long tongue.
