This is just a small sample of the wonderful knitted items that are sewn onto the rail of Saltburn-by-the-sea's pier. This theme was 'Yorkshire' but I have seen them do the Queens jubilee and the Olympics. Nobody knows who does all this knitting and they usually appear overnight.
This is great fun - someone has enjoyed making these and putting them up under the cover of darkness. The Banksy(s) of the knitting world! Always good to have a bit of mystery in life.
