Peacock butterfly

It has been a glorious day her and I have been working in the garden most of the afternoon. I have had loads of honey bees and some big bumble bees and this beautiful Peacock butterfly for company.

The peacock butter fly is quite a showy butterfly. Maggiemae, it took me quite a few tries to get this shot and I had to stand still for a few moments waiting for it to open it's wings.
