Thank you so much for your very kind comments! Lilacs are some of my favorites as well. Especially their fragrance. It took me a while to find the right bunch where the different stages of opening buds were displayed and most of them being still being closed and to have the less distracting background.

@danette - Don't lilacs grow in Florida? I wish I could upload the scent. I know that man's feeble attempts don't come close to the real thing.
