Yellow Evening Primrose

I don't know what these are, but they look like a large variety of buttercup. The petals are about 2.5 - 3 inches across. I saw these in a small flower garden of a neighbor of my daughter's.
Very pretty. Love the color.

Yellow flowers are always so bright and cheerful and the detail is great here too.

Just a guess but I think they might be evening primrose...not that it makes them any less beautiful and cheery, whatever they are called.
