I returned to the park in hopes of seeing the bluebirds but didn't see a one. I am not certain if they are nesting yet, but having people strolling the paths may cause them to take a while before they become accustomed to having people around. Instead I saw this young man fishing under the watchful eye of his father. Thank you all so much for all your wonderful comments of my photos of late! They are very much appreciated!
@maggiemae- No I saw a male bluebird sitting on the roof of a birdhouse that was placed by a Boy Scout troop in a wetlands. The female was in the house and they both flew off. I went back with my 400mm lens in hopes of catching them, but there were a number of people walking the trails. The pond has a large amount of bluegills which my granddaughter and I enjoy feeding bread.
