Sunflower Farm

While visiting our oldest granddaughter and her family in the Land of Lincoln, she took us to this Sunflower Farm/maze.

It's just a little surreal - sad sunflowers.

@Dawn - Just a small part of it. Our granddaughter was pushing the baby in a stroller. The sunflowers weren't as tall as we thought so it wasn't that difficult to navigate.

@ludwigsdiana - The Ukrainians view the vibrant flower as a symbol of peace and resilience. After the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster in 1986, Ukrainians planted sunflowers in the devastated area. The flowers not only represented renewal and hope, but they helped extract toxins from the soil.

Let's pray that they will see peace return to their country soon.
