I walked around my yard this morning, looking for other objects that I thought would make a good subject for a photo. This is a blossom on a sister Rose of Sharon bush to the one I transplanted near our bird feeder. They are both siblings of the bush that once grew in our yard. It's interesting that they sprouted at the same time and yet produced different colored blossoms.
@robz - Each bush only produces one color. I am guessing that the original bush, three bushes ago when we moved into this house 48 years ago, was cross-bred so their offspring can be either white like this or ones with pink petals. I just realized that I called this a hibiscus. It is a Rose of Sharon.
