@seattlite@Weezilou@beryl - Thank you so much for you very kind comments and fav! The forecast has been that rain would move in today and last through next week so we thought that we'd better go when the going was good!
@skipt07 I've been saying "Carpe Diem" a lot lately as rain is frequently forecast, but hasn't come! When it does, we'd better have a stash of photos to go through!
@milaniet - There is always hope. We haven't gotten all the conditions that many forecasters say you need to have a colorful Autumn. One being a cold spell. We have only has a light frost one or two nights and it's been a fairly dry summer. We do see patches of color here. It's not showing up everywhere. At least not yet.
