Come What May

Day 2 of the New Year. Warmer weather has moved back into our area, but not sure for how long. The three inches of snow that covered the ground is now all gone. I looked out the kitchen door at this scene across the road and thought I would try the new lens on something other than birds. Just to see how it performed on its shortest end of its zoom range of 150mm. I liked this because of the bare trees and the light fog from the cold ground and warm air. This is SOOC for what it is worth other than converting it from RAW to DNG in Lightroom so I can open it in PhotoShop to add my signature.

I think the beginning of 2017's weather is continuing the odd behavior of 2016 - just smatterings here and there. We have two cold days then nearly 70 the next. Making lots of fog here, too.

The character of the trees add a lot of interest.

@radiogirl - I watched a tutorial by Phlearn on that two days ago, but haven't tried it. Thanks for letting me know though!

@milaniet - I was watching the weather tonight and we are about to go through a bit of frozen water after all the rain. Then snow will move in and by next Tuesday back to rain. 😂
Back in November they were predicting for this part of the country ; slightly above temps and slightly above precipitation. They're pretty close.

You've captured the winter look when it teases us by making us think the worst is over, only to roar in when we're least expecting it.
