Andreas Gursky, Eat Your Heart Out

Not in your life! I was Googling and came up with some of the fabulous work of Andreas Gursky. I was blown away by some of his work that consisted of the simplicity of photographs of the insides of stores. Pretty much just repeated patterns. My feeble attempt with my phone to mimic this work!

Excellent interpretation of his work! I'll be going to the grocery store with new eyes now. Thank you for providing the link.

Makes me want to check out his style and run to the store tomorrow- well, not really as it's supposed to snow again, but I think you did a good job with it!

@olivetreeann - Ah Ann you are very kind for saying but as I said it was a feeble attempt. It is obvious that Andreas gets special permission to set these up since they all seem to have been taken at an elevated perspective to get so many isles of merchandise in the frame.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. Interesting take on his shot. I must do some more research on him.

Makes me think of 'analysis paralysis' when there is just too much choice.

I love the pop of colors. I had not seen Andreas Gursky's work before, I can see why you were drawn to it!
