Oh no...I had no idea. I am a Nole. Did you go to UF, Skip? A lot of my friends did. I grew up in Orlando, but got the full ride to FSU. I was a gator fan growing up, though.
Wait a minute?!? Aren't you in Virginia? We are semi-Gators, too - lived in Gainesville from 1974 - 1986. . .all our kids were born there and we both taught at UF. First jobs. . .and I only say "semi" because we graduated from LSU. . .and ya know how that goes!!
@mtngal - I use to follow the Pack back in the days of Lombardi. I have been a Steelers and Giants fan most of my life. But before the 70's, everybody beat them. So I started rooting for the Packers too so I could root for a winning team.
@amandalomonaco - No Amanda I didn't go to college. When I graduated from high school the draft board was breathing down my neck and ended up in the Army. I started following the Gators to some degree during Tim Tebow 's senior year.
@groovygirlrn - Thank you for the Fav Sheri, even though I know it is because of content rather then photography skills! :)
@lyno - No I was born and bred in Pennsylvania. I really don't have a favorite college team that I root for. Not even Penn State or Pitt. I was, at one time, an LSU fan when Pistol Pete played basketball. I was more into basketball then football.
@godbreathed - There is a small place in my heart for the Crimson Tide because of my fondness of Bear Bryant when he coached.
@danette - I thought this might make you happy :)
