Beautiful. Interesting that you had a 2 sec. exposure. I did not try it that long. I felt mine were overexposed even sometimes at 1 sec. Great movement.
@danette - The new way I tried this time, the photographer suggested using f/11 and ISO 100 with a shutter speed of 2 - 8 seconds. Of course a tripod would be necessary. The longer exposure would be to capture more of the shells as they broke. I had to really darken the sky as it was in PhotoShop. They normally shoot this show early 9:00 and there is still light in the sky. This year they started a little early. It was a beautiful sunny day and of course around 9 o'clock it started to rain so they shot if off fast to get it in.
Ah...now I see what you did. I was trying to figure out how you could shoot 3 longer exposure shots and combine them of the 'same' thing. Combining the three was interesting, but I do like how crisp and clear this one is.
