Not feeling too well, and wanted to post this one anyway, so back to Saturday, where my daughter and I saw two top BMX Flatlanders strutting their stuff in Bristol's Millenium Square. One of them turned out to be pro Matti Hemmings, and they were awesome. Didn't have long to shoot but pleased with the sharpness of the shots.
@espyetta Thanks Mary Beth. My new lens is super sharp and I'm also using something called Back Button Focus which is really helping with focus. The shot is in Bristol's Millenium Square which is a photographer's dream - more shots to come from there for sure!
Great shot kev. Really nice with the evening light. Genuinely good shot. Nice and sharp too. You have got me thinking with that lens! If you're in 2moro bring spare shoes, found a good bluebell wood achieveable @ lunch!
@snaggy tovarishch, is that where you use the AE Lock button to focus, and the main button then just used for exposure and take the picture?

@ch1ppy_m1nton That's the one, comrade, except I use AF-On. Revelatory for action and almost as good for anything else when set up with single point AF and AI-Servo. Takes a while to get used to, but not too long. Let me know if you want to try - can give you some pointers on set-up on the 7D.
