Day 147 - Cobles

Back in my home town village, these are three of the few remaining fishing cobles left there.

Northumbrian Cobles are quite unique and a bit of dying breed, but this just adds to their attraction.

@ch1ppy_m1nton It appears that way - I've been 'doon sooth' too long and I have to wear clothes now, but my daughter couldn't believe what the local lasses weren't wearing on the quayside on Saturday Night past. I, of course, was concentrating on composition and depth of field....

Used to watch these boats coming and going in all weathers when a youngster and then the fishermen jumping back into the lifeboat when needed in the middle of a stormy night. Respect.
