Day 219 - Grotte de Grand Roc by snaggy

Day 219 - Grotte de Grand Roc

Went to the Grotte de Grand Roc, a stunning limestone cave found in the side of a huge cliff of the banks of the Vesere River.

I took this shot as it resembled the b&w shot on display there taken when the cave was first discovered back in the 30's. Those really are houses built into the cliffs.
Woah! This is unbelievable. Nice homage, I can imagine the original you refer to.

Beautiful shot of an amazing place. Looks good in B&W and certainly has the feel of an old documentary-type photo of the place.
