The Columbus Day parade caused the worst gridlock I have ever seen in Midtown. Instead of attempting to cross the parade to get to Central Park, I headed south on Park Avenue, stopped to check out St. Patrick's Cathedral and then on to Radio City Music Hall, a gigantic entertainment complex located at Rockefeller Center. I have fond memories of my mother taking me to Radio City to see shows when I was in grade school. It is the world's largest indoor theatre.
As I was approaching Radio City, the streets were crowded and I decided to try my hand at some candid street photography. Here is the result, a different take on the iconic sign.
Top Man Danny, One of my favourite places on the planet. Don't know why, it just is!! You can get a great Chilli Dog across the street too. Thanks my friend. Gotta fav it.
@seanoneill I'm really glad you like it, Sean - and thanks so much for the fav. That good looking blonde in the red coat caught my eye and I quickly saw an opportunity for a street candid and Radio City in one shot!
My grandson's class will be making the trip to the Big Apple in May. I told him to make sure to take his camera. Great street photography Danny! Is that one of the Rockettes in the red coat? :)
