Porsche. There is no substitute.

Today's title is one of the greatest marketing slogans ever created for an automobile. And it is also the most memorable line from one of my favorite movies, Risky Business.

Here is one of my favorite Porsches. The 914 is a mid-engined, targa-topped two-seat roadster designed, manufactured and marketed collaboratively by Volkswagen and Porsche from 1969 to 1976. Unloved by many for years, it is finally getting recognition for being a true Porsche and a very fun sports car to own and drive.

Oh...what color? Mine was a 97 and was red. I miss it. Sold it when I was pregnant with my first child. The most fun I've ever had in a car!

@amandalomonaco Mine is white, it is in almost new condition, a really fun car. The suspension has had some work so it handles like a race car. I had an MGB and a Triumph Spitfire in my youth and the Miata is the proper descendant of those great sports cars.
