Blood Mountain by soboy5

Blood Mountain

After leaving the zen serenity of Lake Winfield Scott (see last eight images if you missed it), I drove through a carpet of surreal fall color and arrived at the summit of Blood Mountain, the highest peak on the Georgia section of the Appalachian trail, with an elevation of 4,458 feet. This image was taken looking south from the Appalachian trail as it crosses Blood Mountain.
Stunning Danny. The colours are amazing.
