I'm so disappointed my glass shard cupcakes didn't even place in today's Iron Cupcake competition. Seems like the judges went for cutesy instead of gory. I'm thinking mine do not qualify as cute one bit. The flavor's pumpkin cake filled with homemade dulce de leche topped with dulce de leche buttercream. Mmmm. But not good enough to win. :(
So creative. Those stink'n judges just didn't get how amazing this is. I really think they are pretty cute for Halloween. I bet nobody else had shards of glass on their cupcakes!
Thanks, guys. Nope, I was the only weirdo out there with bloody cupcakes impaled by glass. Most of the entries were cute and cheerful. That's not what Halloween's about for me!
